Predator #1

Tim looked out the window this morning and could see our dog Emma, circling around and around the live trap he’d set  last night.  I grabbed my camera and boots and headed out back in my bathrobe.

This is what we found locked in our trap….

Not what we were hoping for.  And man was he unhappy!

But, you’ve got to admit, this little guy has the right markings.  He’s just the wrong species! Ha!

We’ll try again tonight :)

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What is it with cats? Are they magnetically attracted to live traps? Are you trying to catch raccoons? If you are, marshmallows or a chocolate chip cookie might be an appropriate bait.

    1. Mrs. S.,
Yes, we are trying to catch a raccoon - at least we think that's what it is. We don't know for sure. We used marshmallows, that's what attracted the cat. :)
Hopefully he learned his lesson and won't try that again! Ha!

  2. Looks good with FireFox. Them racoons can be a problem. Hope you get them.

    1. Hi Bobby,
I think that Anon comment is spam. We are still trying to get that raccoon. No sign of him so far!

      Happy New Year!
