Being Fat is NOT Against the Law

I am so upset about the child that was taken from his family because of his weight.  I can assure you he is not the first child that is "obese", he is just the first that has been targeted. I think the people that did this should be ripped from their families and forced into a situation with strangers where they have no control over their lives.  Let's see how they like it.  This is just the beginning folks.  I have been saying for years that as soon as they wipe out the smokers they will go after the people with weight problems.  The government wants complete control of our lives.  They believe they have the power to tell us what we can eat.  Did you know that the USDA is pushing a full scale deregulation of  Monsanto's genetically engineered "Round Up Ready Sugar Beets"? They have no regard for the wishes of the people.  Monsanto has the money.  Money is power.
It absolutely sickens me. (The USDA is accepting public comment right now if you are interested in telling them what you think).

I don't have any children left at home, and it's probably a good thing.  I imagine I could raise all kinds of hell just trying to protect them from the idiots that work for the government.  When is this going to stop?  When are we, as the citizens of this country, going to say enough is enough and take back our rights?  Who do these people think they are?  Why are we letting them do this to us?????????
It needs to stop RIGHT NOW!

God help us.

  1. It is happening here in Australia too, our Government trying to pass laws to tell us what we can and can't do. We are becoming a nanny country.

In New Zealand it looks like they are going to pass laws to say who can and can't grow food. Some stunned and angry people over here.

Monsanto has gotten it's foot in the door here and I really hope we can push it back out.

    I feel your frustration.

  3. Amen. My first thought after reading about this poor child was - I wonder how he feels, jerked away from his parents as if a parasite. Poor kid.

  4. I have mixed emotions about this, you have to remember some people are not like us. They are not fit to be parents by any stretch of the imagination, they shouldn't have children in the first place. I do think taking the child is too extreme, how about mandatory child care classes? I don't know the answer.

  5. Hi Dyan!
Just got the Circle Letter and stopped by. I don't know the story, but I agree with you. I have said the same thing about first the smokers and then the overweight...and so it goes. And we wonder why there is bullying.
    Anyways, greetings from Fargo!
    Always, Rita
